A Village of International Shooters Johri.
Nearly 25 KM from Baghpat ,Surrounded By Sugarcane fields a small village with a Population of 12000 which is famous for its International Shooters. Johri Rifle Club Based in Johri Village, Baghpat helps a lot in bringing Rural Talent to the National and International level.
Today its has thousand of members and already sent many shooters to various jobs. About 17 Rifle Club in the Adjoining village should receive affiliation from Johri Rifle Club and all the coaches in the club have been the students of Johri Rifle Club. This is the Reason Why Lt.General of Indian Army Shri Ashok Vasudev, visited this village and directly recruit Six boys and Two Girls. These students has also practipated for 2012 Olympics under the supervision of Army. Many Children's of this Shooting Range is directly been Recruited as Inspector in CRPF , some in Indian Railways and 2 in Air Force and one as Sub Inspector each in Uttar Pradesh and Delhi Police.
